Ron is originally from New Orleans, LA where he was introduced to the game at the age of 7. He attended Mississippi State University where he earned his degree in Professional Golf Management. He was previously an assistant at CC of Jackson (Miss.) and Hoover CC. He also was a PGA Professional with Dick’s Sporting Goods and most recently the General Manager at Prattville CC. He was elected to membership with the PGA of America in 2009. He regularly competes in Alabama NW Florida PGA Section events. He is also a high school basketball official and a USSF and high school soccer referee. He is married and has a daughter.
